This project included a 19m diameter Geodesic Dome Roof that was fitted to a 6225 model Permastore Glass-Fused-to-Steel Water Storage Tank with a capacity of 1,753,000L. The innovative double I-beam Geodesic Dome Roof solution is suitable for a wide range of applications from drinking water tanks to dry bulk solid storage tanks and can be fitted to a range of Permastore Tanks and 3rd party structures (subject to a full design review of existing structures).
The Permadome Geodesic Dome is the first Geodesic Dome Roof in the world with a silicone free and watertight hub system to eliminate leaks.
The installation of a Permadome Geodesic Dome Roof is made quicker and easier than other dome roof applications by using pre-drilled parts and self-locking bolts. Pre CNC drilled and tapped bolt holes ensure 360⁰ bolt grip therefore achieving accurate bolt positioning and greater clamping force.
